Black Truffle (our Flagship Product) is a hedge fund that employs multiple strategies. Our investment philosophy is based on a quasi-arbitrage approach that aims to exploit anomalies in and between the equity, fixed interest and derivative markets. We tend to focus on liquid, listed financial instruments to minimise risk yet optimise returns. The Fund's objective is to preserve capital as well as delivering sustainable long term returns above Money Market.

Our strategies include, but are not limited to:
Derivative/physical arbitrage, Volatility arbitrage, Convertible Bond arbitrage, Corporate Action arbitrage, Credit arbitrage, Soft commodity arbitrage, Index/Basket arbitage, etc.

Truffle currently offers three unit trusts. Unit Trusts are Collective Investments Schemes governed and regulated by the Collective Investment Schemes Control Act, 2002 (CISCA). These regulations provide for certain measures that protect the interests of investors and therefore our unit trusts provide a regulated vehcile suitable for private investors. Institutional investors are also welcome to invest in our unit trusts. The unit trusts that are currently open for investment are:

2. Truffle Flexible Fund

3. Truffle Balanced Fund (Reg 28 compliant)

We offer segregated, customised mandates to the corporate and institutional markets. We offer segregated Specialist Equity mandates,  Flexible mandates (Absolute Return) and a Reg 28 compliant Balanced mandates. Certain inputs into these mandates can be customised to suit individual client requirements. These products are also available in unit trust format for private or smaller institutional investors.
